Terms of Service
Last updated 30 August 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Qupay. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use Qupay.
What Qupay does
Qupay gives you a single link that lets other people pay you by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login safe.
- Pick a username that isn't misleading and doesn't infringe anyone's rights. We can reclaim usernames that impersonate others or exist to squat.
Payments, balances and payouts
- Card payments you receive are held as a Qupay balance until you withdraw them to a connected bank account.
- Withdrawals and identity checks run through Stripe. Stripe's Connected Account Agreement also applies to you.
- You can also send part of your balance to another Qupay user; that transfer is final once confirmed.
- Qupay may deduct a processing fee, shown before you confirm or withdraw.
Acceptable use
Don't use Qupay for anything illegal, for fraud or money laundering, to sell prohibited goods, or in a way that breaks Stripe's rules. We can suspend or close accounts that do, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
Refunds and disputes
Any agreement to refund a payment is between you and the person who paid you. Card chargebacks are handled through Stripe and may be debited from your balance.
Availability
Qupay is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes and ending your use
You can stop using Qupay and close your account at any time. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we'll flag it, and continuing to use Qupay means you accept the update. We may end or limit access if you break these terms.
